Intermedia releases platform to monitor and maintain UC performance in real time

Intermedia, a cloud communications and collaboration provider, is unveiling Intermedia Unite Envision, a new analytics platform that that visualizes, in real time, the performance of the Intermedia Unite unified communications and collaboration system.

Intermedia Unite Envision is a platform that not only helps partners continue to provide excellent customer support, but makes it easier for them to provide that support with features such as:

• A single, intuitive, dashboard. With one login, partners can view all customer performance data to uncover trends, or drill down to see specific data around a particular customer or groups of customers. All metrics are presented via easy-to-manipulate, intuitive charts.
• Get to the root cause of performance issues. Partners can examine individual calls to see what specific quality issue (such as jitter, latency, or packet loss) affected a call, and where the problem originated.
• Active versus reactive. Partners can easily set up thresholds for call quality and possible outages, and then create custom notifications so they are instantly alerted when issues (as defined by them) arise.

Intermedia Unite integrates a full-featured business phone with web and video conferencing, team chat, file sharing and backup, and much more - with desktop and mobile apps that allow for anytime access from virtually any device.

Unite Envision is included for free with Intermedia Unite. The first applications to launch on the Unite Envision analytics platform include a QoS Dashboard and a Partner Dashboard. The QoS Dashboard aggregates Intermedia Unite phone call and video meeting quality metrics into easy-to-understand, actionable insights that identify issues or trends which may cause less-than-ideal voice or video performance.
