Infotrieve expands, broadens e-content access

E-content business service provider Infotrieve has launched Mobile Library 6.0, which features a fully customizable centralized portal that provides one-click access to database search functionality, internal and external resources, useful links and RSS feeds.

Infotrieve adds that the version’s enhanced search functionality explores all available content types simultaneously, including journals, books, patents, conference proceedings and more. Further, a released executive dashboard provides a detailed on-demand view of enterprisewide content usage, offering access history and usage trends that can be used to impact licensing, subscription planning and spend. Japanese language support has also been added to Mobile Library’s portfolio.

Mobile Library 6.0 allows fully secure, cloud-based access to all enterprise information assets, says Infotrieve, adding that users can seamlessly switch between their desktop, laptop, iPad or smart phone, as their workspace is automatically synchronized across devices.
