Information Advantage Announces IPO

On-line analytical processing (OLAP) software developer Information Advantage (Eden Prairie, MN, Nasdaq:

IACO) has announced the initial public offering of 3,334,000 shares of its common stock, priced at $6 per share. The underwriting group, managed by BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, Piper Jaffray and First Albany Corporation, has been granted an offer to purchase up to 500,100 additional shares to cover any over allotments. Shares traded as high as $7 on Thursday, before closing at $6 1/8.
