Infodata shows loss

Infodata Systems (Fairfax, VA, Nasdaq: INFD, http://www.infodata.com

) reports decreased revenue and a net loss for Q1 '97. The document integration system provider announces revenue of $2 million, a decrease of 18% from Q1 '96 revenue of $2.5 million. A net loss of $855,000 compares with net income of $106,000 in the corresponding quarter of 1996. "First quarter operating results were as expected, in line with our commitment to invest in VFC (Virtual File Cabinet)," comments Richard Beuschel, Infodata Systems' chairman.
