Impelsys and Ontotext Collaborate to Offer Smart Content for Publishers and E-Learning Providers

Impelsys, provider of publishing and learning technology solutions, and Ontotext, a provider of semantic technology, are partnering. The collaboration will provide a semantic layer to the Impelsys iPublishCentral infrastructure with Ontotext GraphDB and Dynamic Semantic Publishing Platform. The result, the companies say, enables new perspectives to content publishing, as well as smart content authoring, discovery, repurposing, and monetization for publishers and e-learning providers. 

The partnership with Ontotext expands Impelsys’ strategy to deliver full-stack, end-to-end solutions for publishers and eLearning providers, observed Sameer Shariff, founder and CEO of Impelsys.

Impelsys provides a digital content delivery infrastructure, iPublishCentral, which can support dissemination of basic PDF/EPUB based eBooks to complex SCORM compliant courseware modules.

Ontotext offers the GraphDB semantic database, and has experience in semantic technology for publishers that can help content creators automate their workflows, streamline production, curation and reuse of content leveraging various types of metadata, and provide richer context, relevant content recommendations and advertising to consumers.
