Imation Names Two to Board

Imation (Oakdale, MN) has named Roland LeMay and Michael Fields to its board of directors. LeMay is the president and COO of Sprint Corporation

, and previously served on Imation's board from July 1996 to August 1997. Fields, founder of The Fields Group, a management consulting firm, has held executive positions with Oracle (Redwood Shores, CA), OpenVision (which merged with Veritas in May 1997) and the Burroughs Corporation. Their appointments add "depth and insight" and are important additions "to what is already a strong board," according to chairman and CEO Bill Monahan.
