ImageMax Announces Four Acquisitions

ImageMax (Conshohocken, PA) has acquired four document management businesses. Saginaw, MI-based Document Management Group and ImageTec will give ImageMax a line of document management services, with an emphasis on digital and micrographic conversion, indexing and archiving. ImageMax CEO Bruce Gillis sees the acquisition as a strong geographic move, one that will provide "a solid basis for growth in the tri-state area." A trio of other pending acquisitions will offer regional digital imaging and micrographic products and services. FileTrac (Hayward, CA) adds to ImageMax's presence in the Bay area, while Concept Micro Imaging (Minnetonka, MN) and MicroFilm World (Charlotte, NC) provide inroads into the Twin Cities area and the rapidly expanding Charlotte marketplace. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
