Ikimbo introduces Omniprise software
Omniprise software from Ikimbo is said to be the first Internet business coordination platform to let companies instantly roll out scalable, privately branded business collaboration hubs to their employees, partners and customers. The hubs are proprietary, XML-based communication, file and application sharing networks that are deployable both internally and to external partners and customers.
Ikimbo reports its technology enables groups to communicate and share information, files, applications, services and e-commerce opportunities anytime and anywhere in the world.
PriceWaterHouseCoopers, the world’s largest professional services organization, has already deployed the Ikimbo Omniprise platform internally as a communications tool for in-house teams. It plans to offer Omniprise software to its regional and global clients to improve project coordination and communication.
Ikimbo will continue its remaining beta installations in the financial, e-100 technology, political and portal markets through the end of 2000.
