Identitech acquires business partner
Identitech has completed its acquisition of Novacom, a West Lawn, PA company specializing in document management systems. Novacom, an Identitech business partner since 1992, has worked to develop vertical applications and integrations for Identitech's FYI software toolkit to products like Lotus Notes and Input Software's InputAccel. Identitech, which will open a Reading, PA northeast regional office, also benefits from Novacom's existing customer base. "This acquisition is part of Identitech's ongoing strategy of penetrating and building strategic vertical markets," according to Jim Tebay, Identitech's VP Sales and Marketing.
