IMR and Cardiff team to process and store

Continuing its string of alliances, data storage solutions provider and DIIME/97 (http://www.diime.com

) exhibitor Information Management Research (IMR, Englewood, CO, http://www.imrgold.com) has announced a strategic alliance with Cardiff Software (San Marcos, http://www.cardiffsw.com), makers of automated data collection solutions such as TeleForm. The companies will offer an integrated Windows 95/NT 32-bit data collection, capture, storage and retrieval solution.

"TeleForm users need a place to store those images," said Dan Lucarini, VP of marketing and business development at IMR. "(IMR's) Alchemy 2CD product is a natural fit."

The fit has appealed to other output vendors such as Kofax (Irvine, CA, http://www.kofax.com) and Optika (Colorado Springs, CO, http://www.optika.com) and resulted in similar alliances with IMR.

According to both companies, partnering Alchemy and TeleForm provides a cost-effective solution for automated data capture and secure storage of faxed and scanned forms.
