Hosted, secure DM

Said to deliver enhanced document management capabilities, improved workflow, collaborative tasks and reminders, as well as numerous usability enhancements, WebWorkZone 7.0 has been released by SiteScape. The company claims the new features will make the product make it easier for distributed teams to bring people, information and resources together to increase revenue, drive profitability and enhance customer satisfaction.

Version 7.0 provides a hosted, secure way of accessing collaboration capabilities and scales to support the needs of either small teams or departments of large enterprises, says SiteScape. The company adds that it also provides organizations with an excellent method to pilot collaboration in a hosted environment.

SiteScape explains the enhancements to WebWorkZone 7.0 focus on support for enterprise features, stricter security and enhanced usability, including robust document management such as round-trip editing, version control and multifile drag and drop uploading. Within the next 60 days, says SiteScape, WebWorkZone customers will also have the option of adding on its new solution modules, which include Forum Program Management, Human Resource Collaboration, Proposal Management and Partner Management. WebWorkZone will also offer Forum eMeeting, a real-time Web conferencing solution that offers application sharing, white boarding, Web conferencing, and voice and videoover IP.
