Going fiscal

LexisNexis announces it has licensed reports generated by one of Sageworks’ technologies, “ProfitCents public”, a software program that converts the financial statement numbers of publicly traded firms into plain language reports.

The application loads the SEC data of any publicly traded firm in the United States (except financial institutions) into Sageworks’ proprietary technology “Find,” which converts the numbers into easy-to-understand text, say the companies. Financial professionals and others typically use the technology to quickly produce an analyst report for a company they are evaluating.

The ProfitCents public tool will be available within the month through nexis.com and LexisNexis Company Dossier within LexisNexis Academic.
