Immediatech's flagship software GoFileRoom Professional Edition (GoFileRoom Pro) is now available for accountants and CPA firms. The company calls its Web-hosted system a self-service alternative that brings the power of the enterprise version, Enterprise Edition, to a package that can be implemented online for smaller firms. Thus, says Immediatech, rather than searching for documents in physical files, accountants can now access them instantly from virtual, online filing cabinets.

The company says key benefits include:

• document management templates, include clients, vendors, human resources, company files and partner files;

• TaxFlow, an add-on module that enables the firm to track the entire tax process, from the creation of an electronic tax folder, to the routing of client source documents from preparers to reviewers, to the final delivery of the tax return to the client;

• rapid deployment;

• security--all files are maintained remotely in an Internet-accessible, IBM secure data center; and

• support for high-speed scanning.
