Gentia, Intersolv add data connectivity to Balanced Scorecard

A new integration between Gentia and Intersolv technology will connect Gentia's Balanced Scorecard software across multiple platforms.

Per the new agreement, Gentia will embed Intersolv's DataDirect SequeLink technology in future versions of its analytical software, including that based on Renaissance Worldwide's Balanced Scorecard performance measurement approach. With the DataDirect integration Gentia also gains support for JDBC and Microsoft OLE DB standards.

For end users, the integration means Gentia's software will better integrate with other enterprise data sources across the network.

By integrating technologies, "we can thus provide our customers with a consistent environment which will require no re-engineering of applications, and will keep them fully prepared for the future," according to Gentia VP Paul Martin.
