AccessData has redesigned Summation, its Web-based document, electronic data and transcript review platform aimed at complementing and enriching the workflows of contemporary legal teams. The company says Summation is highly secure and is the first product to combine comprehensive data processing, early case assessment and final review features into a single platform, eliminating the need for iterative processing, data loading and review cycles.

Summation is available in a number of versions, ranging from those designed for small teams and matters to the largest of organizations and cases. AccessData says all support both ECA and final review and are offered in a subscription model without per-use or per-gigabyte fees.

AccessData emphasizes the following Summation features:

  • near-native redaction;
  • e-mail threading;
  • concept search;
  • near-duplicate analysis;
  • advanced case data filtering with hundreds of unique facet combinations;
  • simple and intuitive interface;
  • granular security;
  • transcript support;
  • offline mobile support;
  • easy-to-use administration and configuration;
  • ingestion of native, PST/NSF, forensic archives and DII files; and
  • export of load files for multiple review platforms (including competitors’ and EDRM XML), TIFFs, PDFs and native files.
