Fujitsu introduces Content Integrator V6.0

Fujitsu has released the latest version of its content integration product, Content Integrator, which enables companies to integrate disparate content sources into a virtual repository, enabling knowledge workers to navigate information from a consolidated view.

Version 6 now supports integration with Microsoft Exchange and enables enterprises to structure and integrate their e-mail content through content referencing and metadata management. The product also provides search functionality on integrated content by a generic search engine interface and a specific adaptor for Verity. Content Integrator now supports automated metadata extraction from external content sources such as MS office documents, Microsoft Exchange and databases. The new version also introduces event and notification services for content changes.
