Fujitsu and XIS Consulting Sign Reseller Agreement
XIS Consulting (Alameda, CA) has signed an agreement to resell Fujitsu's (San Jose) TeamWare workflow products. XIS will subsequently develop a suite of best-practice templates for ISO 9000 process requirements, including Corrective and Preventive Action, Internal Quality Audits, Control of Nonconforming Product, Employee Development, and Contract Review. The suite is expected to be released in Q2 '98. "We want strong partnerships which embrace sound, cutting-edge technology," said John West, Fujitsu's business development manager. "The foundation of this relationship is built around our complementary technologies and methodologies which includes an exciting level of expertise." The deal represents an "exciting opportunity" for companies looking to streamline their business practices, added XIS president and CEO Paul Webb.
