Fuji introduces C-scan software feature

A new CCD-based desktop flatbed scanner has been introduced by the Graphic Systems Division of Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. (Itasca, IL,

http://www.fujifilm.com). The C-330 ($24,000) is designed for use with PCI Macs and can accommodate up to 20 scans per hour with Fujifilm's plug-and-play C-scan software. The 600 x 1,200-dpi resolution scanner can enlarge 3,000% and can accommodate a maximum image size of 13 in. x 18 in. It offers image-editing control via a simple user interface. The scanner is designed for in-house corporate use, graphic designers, advertising agencies, small to medium-size printers, publishers, service bureaus and trade shops that need a general purpose scanner.
