Free BI for MySQL

LogiXML reports that companies that are currently or will be deploying MySQL database as an OEM component can add the capabilities of the Logi Report business intelligence product at no charge.

LogiXML describes Logi Report as an easily embeddable and fully distributable reporting tool that adds value to applications. The company explains that using this BI tool, companies can:

• easily add proven Web 2.0-style reporting capabilities to their MySQL-based applications,
• deliver Web-based reporting applications without coding for maximum productivity and easy maintenance,
• distribute the reporting capability as a value-added component of their MySQL–based application at no charge to them or the user, and
• simplify integration by taking advantage of Logi Report’s XML-based reporting vs. more complex, proprietary APIs.
