Forming solutions for compliance

Targeting regulatory compliance and corporate governance, Open Text announces significant enhancements to Livelink eForms Management.

Open Text says the new capabilities include:

Integration between CardiffTeleForm, a solution for automated online forms processing, and Livelink eForms Management. The integration lets customers manage paper forms with electronic forms in Livelink, giving customers the option of continuing the use of some paper-based forms.

New XML features. Forms originating from outside of Livelink can be managed using Livelink eForms Management. Open Text says the XML capabilities make it easy for government agencies, for example, to offer forms to the public via the Web and still have them managed consistently with other forms through processes in Livelink. Integration between Livelink eForms Management and Livelink eSign. Livelink eSign enhances existing e-signature features in Livelink eForms Management by providing more robust security and auditing capabilities.

Support for additional form formats within Livelink, including HTML, PDF and MS InfoPath.

Additional data collection flexibility including point-and-click configurable output to JDBC and ODBC-compliant databases.

Enhanced expression builder for point-and-click design of complex form field relationships and calculations.

Support for Open Text’s latest version of Livelink (V 9.2.
