FileNet's Despard to take customer focus

David Despard has joined FileNet as senior VP of the newly formed global professional services business. Despard will manage FileNet's service initiatives designed to assist customers in rapidly building and implementing integrated document management solutions.

"We are going to significantly increase our focus on building a global services business that is complimentary to what our partners offer, and we are confident Dave will be a catalyst for this growth," said Lee Roberts, FileNet president and CEO. "We believe there is a substantial growth opportunity here and that in providing this incremental capability we will further meet the needs of our customers."

Despard, who will report directly to Roberts, has previously worked for IBM and Wall Data
