FileNet and OTG sign OEM agreement

FileNet (Costa Mesa, CA) has signed an OEM agreement with OTG Software (Bethesda, MD) to integrate OTG's DiskExtender storage software with its Watermark document imaging software. FileNet will market, sell and support the combined offering, available this month, through its worldwide channels as part of the Watermark product family. OTG's DiskExtender "complements our product line," said Martyn Christian, FileNet VP of product marketing, by offering automated migration of files to optical storage devices and full featured caching capabilities. The new offering "will make it easier for our customers to deploy document-imaging solutions that are customized to their line of business," added Mark Frye, director of Advanced Systems Practice.
