FatWire targets portals

Fatwire has introduced Spark pCM, a portlet for BEA’s WebLogic portal.

FatWire reports Spark portal Content Management (pCM) will include basic CM features including: workflow, a "to do" list, simplified user and group management, basic search functionality, rollback and a function to automatically generate content management interfaces for business users. Pricing for Spark pCM will start at $25,OOO.

Based on FatWire's UpdateEngine 3, Spark is said to be the only portal content management product that can easily be upgraded to a complete dynamic CM solution. The product is geared toward small to mid-size portal projects.
