FatWire releases Content Server 6

FatWire announces the release of Content Server 6, which, the company says, builds upon strengths in ease of adoption for content owners/marketing users and ease of deployment for IT developers.

New and enhanced features include:

Site Launcher--allows administrators to easily duplicate an existing or prototype site within Content Server 6 with just a few clicks.

SAFE (Secure Authorization for Enterprise)--increases the flexibility of the Content Server security model by allowing authorized users to easily control access to content at any level of the repository hierarchy, from broad categories down to individual assets.

Portal integration--Content Server 6 includes 17 pre-built portlets, which support the JSR 168 standard, facilitating integration.

InSite Editor 2--an interface that enables content owners and marketing personnel to edit content in context, by making the changes directly on the delivered page within a site.
