Factiva and Storyful build upon partnership


Dow Jones and Storyful have expanded their partnership beyond existing social video content to provide enhanced social intelligence to Factiva customers. The companies report the social media feed previously available via the Factiva Blogs and Boards feature will be replaced by a more refined Twitter feed, curated and monitored by Storyful’s newsroom and powered by proprietary technology.

Factiva says its customers already benefit from access to immediate, verified social video content on global events through the integration of Storyful’s user-generated videos into Factiva Homepages. The companies claim the enhanced Twitter feed to the Factiva platform will cut through the noise of the social Web to identify the voices that matter most and identify, in real time, the content they are sharing.

Storyful reports its team of editors ensure that the selected and tagged tweets come from verified and relevant sources and will initially focus on the top industries and companies that matter most to clients, including financial services, energy, aviation, technology and media.
