Extra helpings of employee knowledge

Peregrine’s latest version of its Get.Answers is designed to provide a company's employees a single point of access to information they need to be productive. The software works in conjunction with the Get.It suite to extend corporate knowledge through a central, Web-based interface.

Peregrine says users simply type in a natural language question and the system analyzes the query, searching multiple knowledgebases to find answers from departments--HR, IT, marketing, facilities management, legal, sales, etc.--across the organization. The software then allows employees to access that information without distorting the content contained in the document.

Peregrine reports its search technology eliminates the need for dedicated knowledge engineers to maintain the knowledgebase, adding that Get.Answers also provides easy-to-administer access control so that users see only the information that is appropriate for them. A reporting feature informs administrators of who is using the system and what information is being used, allow companies to analyze knowledge usage.

Get.Answers! is now available through a per-employee pricing model.
