EpiServer releases V. 7.5 Commerce

EPiServer has launched Version 7.5 of its namesake .NET e-commerce solution, EPiServer Commerce, which combines e-commerce functionality with robust customer experience management capabilities. The company says the updated platform allows EPiServer clients to capitalize on the convergence of e-commerce and content marketing, enabling improvements in top-line revenue and average order value.

EPiServer 7.5 Commerce blends content and catalog handling to allow the full complement of customer experience tools to deliver value to organizations that recognize the importance of the online sales channel. The company adds the new version offers a transparent business view, beyond complex side-by-side or e-commerce-led integrations.

The new release is said to help marketers with the challenge of controlling their content layout, design and landing pages through tighter integration of content and commerce. EPiServer 7.5 Commerce offers a “quick launch campaign” with flexible layout control and content and catalog reuse, allowing merchandisers to do their jobs effectively and efficiently, says the company. Further, Version 7.5 allows creating a more personalized experience across channels for the consumer, says EpiServer.
