Efinity upgrades SWiM

Efinity has released Version 3.5 of its Supply-Web information Management (SWiM) product, explaining that new features include enhancements to SWiM's order and inventory modules as well as additional invoicing support. The company has also upgraded the SWiM application service to Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

Efinity reports the new inventory module includes support for unlimited file attachments on a per-inventory item basis. In addition to providing detailed inventory information, says Efinity, SWiM users can attach files to inventory items including images, product specifications, CAD drawings, etc. Each file can be viewed online or downloaded with the click of a button, it says.

Because of its Web-hosted model, SWiM users can work from the newest version without installing software upgrades.
