Eastman Software Wins Contract from the Social Security Administration

The Social Security Administration has awarded a $5.1 million contract to Eastman Software (Billerica, MA). Eastman will provide more than 11,000 seats of its imaging, workflow and COLD products to help the SSA automate its Program Service Center. The deal represents the industry's largest imaging, workflow and COLD contract for the Windows NT platform. "This important application will have such a big impact and touch so many people," said Eastman Software president Bob Weiler. Deployment will begin early this year in the SSA's six regional Program Service Centers and in the SSA's Baltimore headquarters.
