Eastman Software Rolls Out Workflow for Exchange

Eastman Software (Billerica, MA) has released a trio of workflow products for Microsoft

Exchange. The Eastman Software Workflow Version 3.2 for Windows NT features added functionality through a new task management capability, enhancements to its API set and a set of Active X controls for developing client/server applications. It also supports Digital's AlphaServer hybrid database server. The Workflow Connector for Exchange provides seamless communication of work items between Microsoft Exchange and Workflow for Windows NT, and the World Wide Web, allowing users to participate in NT-based workflow processes. According to Michael Loria, Eastman Software's VP of Worldwide Marketing, the products address issues "that keep CEOs up at night: integrating the flow of work across the enterprise, leveraging technology investments and keeping costs down." Combined, they expand Eastman's workflow technology "to meet the infrastructure and interoperability demands of today's knowledge-sharing environment."
