E-discovery platform

Endeca and business advisory firm FTI Consulting (FTI) have joined forces to create an information management platform for FTI's clients.

FTI reports it will deploy the Endeca Information Access Platform (IAP) to create new applications that allow for the search and discovery of financial information, transactional databases and other structured and unstructured electronically stored information (ESI). The technology, says FTI, will allow its clients to gain a 360-degree view of all information relevant to litigation events, mergers and acquisitions, as well as to any government investigations and other events that affect enterprise value.

Endeca-powered applications will be developed by FTI's research and development team and will be initially offered under the software-as-a-service model to FTI clients in the pharmaceutical sector. They will be subsequently extended into other litigation-intensive industries such as financial services, retail and manufacturing.
