DynCorp to Provide IT Solutions to the DoD

The Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded an IT contract worth approximately $21 million to DynCorp (Reston, VA). DynCorp will provide IT services, ranging from technology assessments, information infrastructure support and overall program support activities, for the DoD's Defense Advanced Research Agency Information Technology Office (DARPA/ITO). The agreement is for an initial one year, $4 million contract, with four additional one year options. The contract allows DynCorp, named the nation's 18th largest federal integrator by

Federal Computer Week, to "maintain its eight year legacy" of providing IT solutions to the DoD, according to president and CEO Paul Lombardi.
