DynCorp Subsidiary To Provide Healthcare Data Management Services For Alabama Office

The Alabama CAHABA Government Benefits Administrators has selected DynCorp (Reston, VA) subsidiary

DynKePRO (York, PA) to provide healthcare data management and abstraction services. DynKePRO, a joint venture of DynCorp and health care information company KePRO (Harrisburg, PA), will provide data abstraction for reviewing Medicare claims for pacemaker implantations. "The end result of this process is that patients receive the most appropriate care," said DynCorp Healthcare Services VP Edward Gaskell. Medical records will be scanned using DynCorp's Key Image document management system, sent to KePRO for abstraction and transferred to the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation for analysis. "We plan to become a leading provider of healthcare data management solutions for the full range of services in the healthcare spectrum," said DynCorp president and CEO Paul Lombardi.
