Documentum’s Q2’97 revenues are up 70% over Q2’96

Documentum (Pleasanton, CA, Nasdaq: DCTM, http://www.documentum.com

) announces Q2 ’97 revenue of $17.3 million, which represents a 70% increase over Q2 ’96 revenue of $10.2 million. Net income for Q2 ’97 increased to $1.4 million, compared with Q2 ’96 net income of $900,000. In Q2 ’97, the company released DocSolution for SOPs (standard operating procedure). The company also formed an alliance with PeopleSoft and Netscape. Jeffrey Miller, president and CEO of Documentum, stated: “In our second quarter, Documentum continued delivering on our focus of providing business-critical solutions to our Global 1000 customers.”
