) reports Q3 '97 financial results. Record revenue of $19.7 million represents a 63% increase Q3 '96. Net income of $2 million compares with a net income of $1.4 million in Q3 '96. Earnings of $.14 per compare with $.09 per share in Q3 '96. Revenue and net income for the first nine months of 1997 are both up more than 60% from the first nine months of 1996. During the quarter Documentum acquired Workgroup Management (http://www.wgmgt.com), an Oakland, CA systems integrator and consultancy, and released new versions of its DocSolutions applications for the engineering and banking vertical markets.
