Documents, dramatically

Correlate, the developer of visual document management solutions for team-based collaboration, has announced K-Map Solutions, designed to manage the documentation needs for regulatory compliance and project documentation.

The company claims Correlate K-Map for Regulatory Compliance facilitates the organization and completion of regulatory or compliance documents. By organizing the required documents for the collaborative process of gathering, organizing and sharing the documentation required for each submittal, customers realize a time and cost savings. K-Map for Project Documentation is said to offer, explaining projects often follow a methodology, with similar steps (best practices) and documentation required for each project. The Project Documentation solution creates a guide for the project manager, allowing the manager to capture all of the information related to the project, either automatically or manually, in a logical outline that can be shared with a team, taken off-line, or stored within a document management system for further use, claims Correlate..

Correlate describes K-Maps as providing users with an easy-to-follow visual framework for managing all of the documents and information (e-mails, Web content, contacts, graphics, legacy data, etc.) in connection with a particular business process. With a K-Map, the information can be easily organized in a visual and logical manner to help manage and complete a process, says the company. Correlate K-Map solutions are designed to integrate with Lotus Domino.Doc, IBM’s WebSphere Portal Server and the Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.

Additional K-Map solutions are planned for life sciences, finance, e-government, energy and professional services.
