AnyDoc Software has announced a new workflow development platform designed to eliminate the need for pre-sorting documents before they are processed by a document and data capture application. The company says AnyDoc Classify automatically performs OCR data extraction on the document images, identifies their document types and any document sets (all pages related to a single document) and then routes the document images to the appropriate location.

The foundation for Classify is Apptivity, AnyDoc Software's new workflow development platform. Apptivity provides an intuitive interface and easy-to-use processing tools to offer users the ability to customize their entire document workflow process, all within a single software workflow. The tools facilitate the capture, optimization, OCR extraction, classification and flow of document images and data throughout the workflow process.
