Document management system (DMS) provider LogicalDOC has announced that its software is now available as a Docker image, making it easier for developers to integrate the software into their current platforms.
Docker, the open source software containerization platform, enables packaging of applications into standardized units for software development. Docker containers wrap a piece of software in a complete filesystem containing everything necessary to run that can be installed on a server, from code to runtime, system tools, system libraries and more, helping to ensure predictability in the way the software will run.
LogicalDOC's DMS can be used by organizations to facilitate managing and processing of important documents. The software, which can be can be installed on Windows, Linux, and MacOS X, helps optimize research by searching through documents using parameters, keywords, or content (full-text), and aids in simplifying both data entry and document retrieval.
