Delphi Group Names Mindshare Award Winners: Documentum, FileNet, and Verity

The Delphi Group (Boston) has announced the winners of the first annual Delphi Market Recognition Awards. Documentum

(Pleasanton, CA), FileNet (Costa Mesa, CA) and Verity (Sunnyvale, CA) received the awards for "staking our a high level of mindshare among consumers" in document management, workflow, and search and retrieval technologies respectively, according to Delphi Group's Director of Research Hadley Reynolds. The winners were determined by sending ballots to 600 users and evaluators of electronic document technologies. "Winning a Delphi Market Recognition Award is a benchmark for a software developer's success in capturing a critical mass of market mindshare," said Reynolds. "We felt it was time that the market-leading software companies receive objective recognition for the key roles they are playing -- both in achieving exceptional market growth and in leading the charge to define these industries," said Delphi president Thomas Koulopoulos. Further information on the awards and Delphi research can be found in Delphi's Insight Series subscription-based research services for document management, knowledge management, workflow and information retrieval technologies and markets.
