Datawatch and Hyland Partner on Content Management

Datawatch Corporation and Hyland have formed a partnership, and are working together to ensure compatibility of Datawatch’s Monarch self-service data preparation solution and OnBase by Hyland, an enterprise information platform.

The partnership is targeted at providing customers with simplified and expedited data preparation, data analysis, and enterprise content management, as well as alleviating the burden of back-end technology challenges for IT personnel and data users, according to Ken Tacelli, chief operating officer, Datawatch.

In a crowded market where technologies often overlap and complement each other, collaboration is advantageous for customers, noted George Angelato, vice president of quality assurance and documentation at Hyland. The partnership with Datawatch is an example of this belief in action, and, as a result, joint Datawatch-Hyland customers will benefit from advanced agility, efficiency and effectiveness, leading to greater business value, he added.

Datawatch Monarch helps data scientists, data analysts and everyday business users to quickly and easily access, manipulate, enrich and combine disparate data from a variety of sources, and then prepare it for analysis more quickly than using spreadsheets and other manually-intensive measures. Monarch users who are also using OnBase will now able to get the benefit of Monarch from within the OnBase system without having to worry about software compatibility.
