Dataware Signs South American Licensing Agreement
Dataware (Cambridge, MA) has signed a $1 million licensing agreement with Equiplus SA, a South American software and services provider. Equiplus will resell Dataware's products for use in large-scale national government projects. Equiware SA sells large-scale documentation and library systems to government customers in Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and now Argentina. The agreement is the second million-dollar Latin American contract for Dataware, and represents the "second installment" in Dataware's efforts to expand into the Latin American marketplace, according to president and CEO Kurt Mueller.
