Data General and Altris sign OEM agreement

) and Altris Software (San Diego, http://www.altris.com) have signed a 6,500-seat OEM agreement. The Altris EB enterprise-wide multimedia document management system is designed for high-volume production imaging. "We expect to sell more than 25,000 licenses of Altris EB over the next five years," says Michael Fowler, director of Data General's imaging and document management business unit. The agreement expands an existing agreement between the companies involving Altris' AV Image product line.
