DPF Announces Data Storage Service

A new service that provides the means to create, store and retrieve data housed in remote repositories has been introduced by DPF Data Services (Woodcliff Lake, NJ). On Demand Data Services (ODDS) uses network computing and its three DPF service centers to deliver data and documents across corporate intranets and the Internet using a standard Web browser. ODDS allows users to store data as images, COLD, database or native application formats. "On Demand Data Services delivers the most cost effective way for our customers to have an enterprise wide data mart without the headaches of managing it," said DPF CEO Michael Swords. DPF's data centers in New York and New Jersey will serve as the repositories for the files.
