Curran Data President Receives Awards
Carol Curran, president of Star Technologies (Sterling, VA) subsidiary Curran Data Technologies (Indianapolis), has been elected as Vice Chairman of the board of directors of The Association of Work Process Improvement (TAWPI, Boston). Curran will provide fiduciary oversight to the organization's Audit Committee as well as general guidance and direction for policy, strategy, and chapter operations. Curran was TAWPI treasurer in 1993-1995 and 1996-1997, and has been a director since 1993. Curran has also been named as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Network of Women in Business, an Indianapolis organization. "Carol has the entrepreneurial drive to make things happen," said Kerry Stackpole, former TAWPI president.
