Convenient content

Built in Pure Java, the Revise 3.5 Content Management and Delivery System from Idetix is designed for non-technical content editors to manage and change their own content and workflow through a standard Web browser. Idetix reports the 3.5’s architecture separates application development into three principal layers in order to accommodate developers with different skill levels. Layer One is suited for the graphically oriented Web developer. Layer Two provides access to the developer's source code contained in the Revize Smart Tags. Layer 3 enables developers to modify Idetix's prepared source code, or build their own unique development libraries in order to extend the software’s capabilities.

Revise 3.5 further includes authorization and workflow tools, which protect assets such as the look and feel of the Web site while providing mechanisms for obtaining the proper approvals. Idetix says the drag-and-drop workflow creation system enables developers to quickly build an approval process that suits the company's unique needs. The Multiple webSpace Manager enables a single copy of Revize to power up to 500 unique Web sites without bleed-through. Each webSpace can deliver multiple Channels within the Idetix webSpace, including Internet, intranet and extranet sites.
