Consona and CDC merge to form Aptean

Enterprise application software providers Consona and CDC Software have merged to form Aptean. The combined company reports it has more than 9,000 customers, 1,500 employees and a worldwide network of sales and support operations.

CDC Software's solutions include enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing operations management, enterprise manufacturing intelligence, supply chain management (SCM), global trade management, e-commerce, human capital management, customer relationship management (CRM), complaint management and aged care solutions. It adds that it provides solutions for the manufacturing, distribution, transportation, retail, government, real estate, financial services, healthcare and not-for-profit industries.

Consona offers technology and services across the following software application categories: ERP, CRM, knowledge management, e-service, network management and product configuration. Consona says its software and services are used by companies of all sizes, ranging from small businesses to Global 2000 enterprises, across a number of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, high tech, help desks and telecommunications.
