Computron releases new financial software

Computron (Rutherford, NJ) has released version 4.0 of its financial management software. Computron Version 4.0 includes enterprise financials, asset management, process automation modules, and reporting, query and data management, supported by workflow and Internet technologies. The software offers three business process solutions for Budget Cycle Management, Expense Cycle Management, and Procurement Cycle Management. It is integrated with OLAP tools (e.g. Red Brick, Cognos, Essbase), databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft Sequel Server, Informix, Sybase) and works with Computron's Workflow and COOL suites. A Yorvik module addresses ERP needs with workflow-enabled asset maintenance, work management, procurement, inventory and project management software applications. "The wealth, potential, and ultimate success of 21st century organizations will be determined by how well knowledge is used to manage, protect, and leverage their corporate assets," said Computron CEO John Rade. This new product will provide these organizations "with enhanced capability to make better decisions in a more timely fashion."
