Cincom announces Web-based document management solution

Cincom Systems (Cincinnati) is adding a web-based interface to its AuroraDS document management suite, the company has announced at the Xplor International

conference in Dallas. The wizard-style interface, which operates in a client/server environment, allows users to create documents via a thin client web browser. Users will then have "the option to print locally or centrally" in either a PC LAN or mainframe environment, said Cincom product manager Nic Carter. The solution is targeted at the insurance, financial, government and utilities markets.
