Cincom Wins ERP Contract
Lucas Aerospace, a provider of products and services for the aerospace industry, has awarded an enterprise resource planning (ERP) contract to Cincom (Cincinnati), as part of its BPR efforts. Lucas will migrate to Cincom's Control ERP software, which will manage the company's global manufacturing, maintenance and spares operations for 800 users and 20 sites worldwide. Lucas has been using Control at several sites for manufacturing and repair and overhaul activities; one division has improved on-time deliveries to 99%, earning a bypass of Boeing inspections. Lucas IT director John Cuckney said that Control's functionality was a key in the decision to go with Cincom.
