Cerebellum launches two new products

With the introduction of software spawned by its namesake product, Cerebellum reports it has developed a new solution to speed the development of e-commerce applications. Version 2.1 of eCom Integrator generates data persistence between Enterprise JavaBean (EJB) component technology and underlying data, the company says.

Further, the company adds, eCom provides a productive, visual environment for integrating an e-commerce application with back-end data systems, and its features improve the long-term portability of the application to different data sources in the future.

Cerebellum eCom Integrator allows customers to leverage their existing data systems to develop e-commerce applications. The product's graphical interface allows developers to generate a persistence layer between EJB entity bean components and relational, legacy and ERP data sources. As a result, Cerebellum eCom Integrator dramatically extends the mapping capabilities offered by EJB application servers, without requiring additional programming work.

The company also just introduced today is Version 2.1 of the Cerebellum Portal Integrator, which is based on the open standards of the Java 2 Enterprise Edition platform. It provides a single, graphical interface and drag-and-drop query language for building reusable data components that integrate information from relational, legacy and SAP data sources.
